Leeds UFCA
Leeds UFCA, just promoted this season, some very good players. A good set up of developing players, with Isiah Rankin on the coaching staff.
A county Cup game vs South Leeds and UFCA were head and shoulders above their opponents, much the better side and 5-1 winners. South Leeds missed a penalty and had a man sent off but in reality this was never a contest.
The ground, well UFCA have moved from their Weetwood base, why I'm not sure, but they now share a ground with Nostell FC. Luckily for them it's still there to share as it was up until a few years ago due to be demolished for HS2, thankfully for this neat little ground, that never happened. A good spacious bar and plenty of hot food on offer, some covered seating or a good standing area around the far side, neat and tidy little ground. To my surprise, pin badges were available on the turnstile for £5 a piece. Definitely worth watching UFCA, their footballing philosophy is a joy to watch.
A small car park available if arriving by car, best to arrive early as there isn't much street parking nearby either. Otherwise buses to Crofton will run from Wakefield.
